I’m a DC area native. Over the years I’ve cultivated a visual world that is a pastiche of beloved works of literature, movies, admired artists, observations from everyday life and strange nuances in history.

To bring this world to life as best I can, I use oil paint, paper, pencil, ink, spray paint, fiber, coffee and wax. I view the world as comprised of light and dark and I wish all of my works to contain elements of both.

When I make something, there are several ingredients: the media used, me (the other medium), and (the mystery) the paintings themselves, which often seem to push forth their own stories.
